Amy Rubin

President and General Counsel

Ms. Rubin has ten years experience as an executive and general counsel in the real estate and title industry. She founded St. Louis Title in 2005 and is responsible for growing the company from the ground up, resulting in over $1 billion in new orders in the first two years. In her role she interfaces with lenders, developers, attorneys and brokers to develop customer relations and maintain overall customer satisfaction.

She advises on issues involving bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, endorsements, leases, contracts, mechanic’s liens and other construction-related matters. She oversees and assists claim management and resolutions with underwriters and provides counsel to employees on ethical matters, policies and other issues affecting the company.

Prior to founding St. Louis Title, Ms. Rubin was vice president and counsel for U.S. Title Guaranty Company of Clayton, MO. There, she managed, underwrote and advised on over 400 complex commercial transactions annually.

Ms. Rubin is a graduate Magna Cum Laude of Georgia State University and Saint Louis University School of Law and an expert speaker in the St. Louis community on issues involving title insurance, commercial real estate transactions and advanced real estate law.
